CYIA Pancake Breakfast -August 29, 2026 - Applebee's 8:00am - 10:30am
The CYIA Pancake Breakfast is a fundraiser for the teens that will be teaching 5-Day Clubs in the summer. The money from the breakfast will be shared between the teens to help with expenses such as training, wages, transportation, etc.

CEF Golf Scramble - August 8
The CEF Golf Scramble is a great way to have fun with your friends and support the ministry of CEF at the same time! The Scramble was held at The Oaks Golf Course in Kincheloe in 2025. This is a foursome scramble with a shotgun start. The last few years it has been held on a Saturday in August, with registration staring at 3pm. Each participant usually takes home a door prize, special cookies, and light refreshments are served.

CEF Annual Fundraising Banquet - October/November
Date - Monday, October 26, 2026
Location - Calvary Baptist Church, 2301 Young Street, Sault Ste. Marie, MI
The Annual Fundraising Banquet is a great evening learning what the Lord has done through the ministry of CEF throughout the past year. A ticketed event, the evening is comprised of a catered meal, testimonies from those involved in the ministry, music, and a special speaker. The evening wraps up with a commitment card and offering. Many new individuals and families learn about the ministry and become ministry partners! The offering is a great help to keep the ministry active in this area. Tickets are purchased by calling the CEF Office at 906-440-6480, or from one of the CEF Committee members.
2026 brings a speaker you may already know, and her husband. Carol (Horn) McKinley and her husband Steve will be coming all the way from Kenai, Alaska, to share their testimony and what the Lord has put on their hearts. Steve has been the CEF State Director of Alaska for 33 years. Carol was the CEF UP State Director for 14 years. They have been married for just over a year. In 2025, John Romano, Associate Vice-President of CEF USA was our special speaker. Mr. Romano served as a local pastor and then was called to be a local director and then State Director for the state of Maine until his retirement nine years ago. As of 2026, Mr. Romano is now back in Maine working at Camp Good News.
In 2024, Jeff Nichols, Vice-President of CEF USA came from CEF Headquarters in Missouri to share his heart for ministry.
